Looking for a different kind of musical?

A musical that provides lots of scope for your talented performers? A simpler, gentler show to entertain the whole family? WAITING ON A DREAM may be just the ticket!

In a nutshell:

Take a bungled bank raid, a destitute lawyer, a tipsy judge, quack medicine and a sharp-witted barmaid. Add the hopes and dreams of Canadian and American soldiers and civilians caught up in the northernmost battle of the American Civil War. What do you have? A new musical comedy written especially for community theatre, drama school, and high school productions.

Grand finale of the Knowlton Players production of the original show, which was called "Chicksaw."

If your group can handle The Music Man or The King and I, WAITING ON A DREAM should be straightforward. Read on for more information!
